Arc Flash Consulting
An arc flash is a phenomenon where a flashover of electric current leaves it's intended path and travels through the air from one conductor to another, or to ground. EDi strives to provide consulting that minimizes risk from arc flash hazard through arc flash analysis and consulting.

Engineered Designs, Inc. is a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm providing mechanical, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm, and plumbing systems designs as well as code consulting, energy analysis, and commissioning services. Located in the Raleigh area - Ginger Scoggins founded the firm in 1997 to meet a growing desire expressed by owners and architects for more personal involvement and commitment. Today, EDi employs 20+ professionals and is structured into four distinct multi-discipline design teams, a commissioning team, plus a construction administration team.
